Just as a matter of interest, what light bulbs are you using in the SiR headlamps? I can't match them to anything over here and the H4 bulbs used in all Aussie cars don't have the same bracket on them.

The bulb you're looking for is a JDM bulb labled by Stanley/Raybrig as 702K-rs and by PIAA as H4H. Similar to the H4 bulbs, they are designed for the optics of the SiR headlights.

I have a bit of info...not sure if relevant, but the SiR headlight bulbs use the 92-95 Civic bulb connectors to the harness...wiring color is very similar and straightforwad...combine grounds on stock harness - blacks. They also take the Civic bulbs from what I could tell.

Thanks Spinn - I'll give the local Auto store a whirl for 'em.
NC_Rex - the connectors are fine for HC bulbs, but the brackets are wrong on all Aussie bulbs and the fillaments themselves are a different design. Rather than one being "hooded", both are open to the glass. I'll take some pics to show ppl if they are interested.
